Paraguayan airport sets record
Airline route website Anna.Aero reports passenger traffic at Paraguay’s airport increased 23 percent last year. Silvio Pettirossi International Airport, in the capital city of Asunción, saw more than 700,000 passengers in 2010, a record for the airport, according to Anna.Aero.com. Passenger numbers have almost doubled in the past six years.

Passenger traffic at Mexico’s ASUR airports rose in May. The company reports a three-percent increase over May 2010. More than 1.42 million passengers passed through ASUR’s nine airports last month. Cancun, its largest airport, saw more than one million passengers in May.
